Brisas Hotel

The price was great, and we got free parking, air conditioning, and a really good breakfast. I booked through WhatsApp, and they honored the reservation. Communication was excellent; I kept them updated on roughly when we would arrive. Santiago, who welcomed us at the front desk, was friendly, professional, and very helpful. One of the best hotels in Matagalpa for us. I'd happily stay here again on my next visit. 11/10, and I recommend it completely.

The breakfast was a typical Nicaraguan one, but the ingredients were excellent. Service here really stood out, which can be hard to find at hotels in Nicaragua. They brought drinking water every day, offered to clean the room daily, and helped with our bags. We were here for our honeymoon and had asked at booking for a more private room if possible. They were happy to arrange that: our room was on the third floor, with just one other room nearby, so it was quiet and private. They also changed the full-size bed for a queen, put rose petals on it, and left us a complimentary bottle of wine. We had a lovely city view too. I highly recommend the hotel.

For the price, I don't think you can beat it. It's new, clean, and nice, with friendly staff and breakfast included. The room had air conditioning, a bed, nightstand, small desk, and chair. Getting to the main roads for day trips is easy, and town is an easy walk for shopping or eating.

Everything you need is within walking distance, including a 24-hour pharmacy and a hospital nearby. The place is extremely clean, the staff are friendly, and breakfast is fresh and delicious. I'll stay here again when I visit Matagalpa.
