B&B Central

Westerpark was a lovely spot for a picnic during July’s long daylight, and it was fun watching the cyclists go past. We also found plenty of places to eat and nearby groceries, with Centraal station not too far away. Our room was on the top floor of a three-storey flat, while the bathroom was one floor below. The stairs were narrow, though we managed with carry-ons. There was a coffee maker, little fridge and large toaster oven. Frederic was away, but the stand-in host was wonderful, Alex perhaps. We hired bikes from Bike Rental Reine. The staff were nice, but the bikes weren’t maintained very well. Frederic bikes might be a better option, and A-bike rentals near Vondelpark was excellent for an e-bike rental to Zanse Schans. We’d happily stay again.

The host was really polite and the place was very nice. Just keep in mind the room is up on the third floor and the stairs are tiny, so big bags could be a struggle. The bathroom is on the second floor beside the host’s room, but he was fine with us using it even at 3am, haha.
