There were quite a few scales running around our room, and management showed no real concern or even offered to move us. They just said there weren't many. The room also had no door to the restroom, and we were told the air conditioning couldn't go below 20 degrees because it would make the whole system fail. That falls far short of basic comfort and safety. I've never had a worse hotel stay. I feel cheated and humiliated, and the whole experience was a nightmare. We paid for a place to stay and didn't even get minimal living conditions.

We left right away and didn't spend even one night there. After about 15 minutes in the room, we found three cockroaches and a maggot in the toilet. The elevator between floors 0 and 1 wasn't working, there was no door to the restroom, and the air conditioning couldn't be set below 20 degrees because, we were told, that would make the hotel's whole system fail. We called the emergency number after leaving, but nobody answered. The next morning, after staying elsewhere overnight, we called again and were told there'd be no refund, even for the unused days. We paid 1400 euros for this disgusting place. It ruined our vacation, and I absolutely wouldn't recommend it. We booked through booking. To my surprise, they took no constructive steps to sort this out or give us proper support. They refunded only 15%, while the remaining days kept running and the hotel kept the rest of the money. I'd always used this service when emergencies came up, but this time that trust turned out to be misplaced.

The apartment looks beautiful and modern, and the security system is great. But the rooms are poorly maintained, with a really dirty floor, dust, and spider webs everywhere. The kitchen has barely any space. My apartment had lots of windows, so there wasn't much privacy, and some of the curtains wouldn't close properly. The bathroom was dirty too, and had no door separating it from the room.

We stayed at the beginning of December 2022, when it was freezing, and the heating didn't work. The owners said they'd check it the next day and deal with it if needed, after we'd already spent a night sleeping in coats, gloves, scarves, and hats. They never fixed it or replied to us afterward. Choosing this place ruined our stay in Amsterdam. Don't trust the owners.
