Rembrandt Square Hotel

The staff were really friendly and accommodating. At night they keep the building very secure, but I had no trouble getting in or out. There are stairs up to the rooms, so be ready for that. The rooms have a typical Dutch layout, with the shower and bathroom in the room, which seems pretty standard in the Netherlands. The shower worked great, even for someone tall like me. There are luggage hideaways to save space, and the rooms have a fun design. Great location for nightlife.

The room was clean and comfortable, and the hotel people were very friendly and welcoming. Its spot in the city is fantastic, but the street noise was too much for me. We were on the 2nd floor and could hear a lot from outside. It would have been perfect on the 4th floor.

The room was very compact, with the bathroom built right into it. It worked fine, but moving around was a bit tight. Be aware there can be up to 5 floors to walk up. The refurbishment looks smart and fresh, with bright decor and modern touches. They provide basic supplies, just minimal toiletries and hot drink items, but that was adequate for the price. Friendly service and an amazing location, thank you!!

The one thing that bothered me was that the cleaners took the change we’d left on the side. The staff were otherwise nice and welcoming, and the location is fantastic. We love this area of Amsterdam. The rooms were extremely nice, just very small, with hardly any room for luggage. Still, it was a great stay.
