Brenda at reception, who's from Mexico, is genuinely friendly and helpful, and makes you feel welcome. Franco on the evening shift is professional, kind, and ready to assist. The hostel itself is clean, comfortable, and convenient for solo travelers. The night receptionist, an older man, was rude and dismissive. His attitude was frustrating, and he didn't handle simple guest requests with basic courtesy. That really detracted from an otherwise positive stay. Management should look into improving the night service.

Because we checked out about 20 minutes late, they wouldn't let us store our luggage, although apparently other guests were allowed to. I've never been treated so unfriendly in a hostel or hotel. Seriously, get a grip.

The location is perfect, and that's about all I can recommend. The place is tiny, the stairs are dangerous, and the rooms are only passable for a night or two. Staff seem to treat you strangely and give you dirty looks when they realize you speak Spanish. For the price, it's an almost horrible place.

I left covered in bedbug bites. Every night, all night, there was a man throwing up in the room, and people wandered around in their underwear, picking at their feet. BEDBUGS!!!!! Avoid this place at all costs. Absolutely horrible experience.
