The receptionist was so nice and helpful, and the Metro is just a three-minute walk away. It's central, and for what you pay, you get a great deal in Amsterdam. Don't expect a fancy hotel, but it has the facilities you need for a very nice stay. The stairs are a bit of a struggle with big bags, so be aware of that. They're planning to have an elevator next year.
Everything was clean, comfortable and thoughtfully arranged, and the staff were genuinely warm and always ready to help with a smile. Euphemia Hotel felt peaceful and cosy, close to the main attractions but still quiet, right in the heart of Amsterdam. I had a wonderful stay and would happily return. Lovely rooms and staff, and the location is excellent. There are lovely restaurants right next door, especially a pizzeria with what I thought were the best pizzas in town. It wasn't very expensive compared with everything else. I didn't have breakfast, so I can't comment on that.
Getting around was easy, and the hotel is easy to reach from Central Station and Dam Square. There are plenty of good cafés and restaurants within walking distance. Haim, the hotel manager, was especially kind and helpful, taking time to give me directions and recommend places nearby. The room was very clean and well maintained, and the friendly team and relaxed atmosphere made the whole stay feel comfortable and smooth.
The hotel felt cosy, and getting around from its location was effortless. Everything was clean and carefully prepared, while the staff were lovely, welcoming and super friendly. I had a great, comfortable stay.
