The building has so much historical character and charm, it felt like stepping into a museum at first. It’s fully furnished and they’ve thought of everything. For the extra cost compared with a hotel room, I think it’s well worth it. You’re about 10 mins from the city Centre and 15 from the famous red light district. Try the Tokyo ramen place around the corner :-) What a great stay in Amsterdam.

The apartment was spacious and had amenities, but it wasn’t very clean. The location really is perfect. Unfortunately, we’d booked a different apartment, but were given another one in the semi-basement. They didn’t acknowledge the arrangement we’d made by email and phone, and asked us for extra taxes without ever telling us about them.
