The second room had two separate beds even though I’d requested a double, and one of them was broken. In the first room, I found pizza boxes under the bed and food scraps everywhere, as well as bed bugs, which can transmit diseases if they bite you. I went downstairs to complain and ask for another room, but didn’t even get an apology. Giving guests a room in that condition is disgraceful. The whole thing was embarrassing, and I don’t recommend this hotel at all.

I paid 120e for a night, checked in, then left to find somewhere else to sleep. They refused to cancel my reservation, and my PayPal dispute was denied for “not enough evidence.” I didn’t stay overnight to find the bed bugs, since they spread with you, but every review I saw seemed to be about them. The place was in awful shape, with everything worn out or smelly. My room had damp, stuffy air like an abandoned old house, and the bed sheets had blood stains from bed bugs. I usually don’t care much about condition if I can spend the night, but this place was even below that. I wouldn’t have expected somewhere like this to exist in Europe.

Our room’s heating kept making noise all night, so getting proper sleep was impossible. We complained and were moved, but the same problem continued in the new room. The beds were narrow and uncomfortable, which made resting even harder. The hotel also never replied to our emails. I was very disappointed. It was a frustrating stay and nothing like I expected.

The service was a real bright spot: the lobby staff welcomed us warmly when we arrived late, around 11pm, almost midnight. We’d let them know hours ahead that traffic would delay us. The lobby is open 24/7, and they kept our luggage after checkout so we could keep exploring, and let us use the restroom too. The room was clean, the beds and towels were clean, and they cleaned the room and changed our towels on the second day. I’d been worried by the online bed bug reviews, but we had no such problem. The room was a bit too small for three beds and our luggage, and being near the receiving area meant it got noisy now and then. It was fine since we weren’t at the hotel all the time. The location is handy for transit, with tram, train, and metro stops nearby, plus lots of restaurants. It was quiet at night.
