Hotel Mozart

The staff were warm and genuinely tried to help whenever I had a question. Marina at reception was especially pleasant and did a great job. The hotel also felt friendly and cozy, and the room was quite clean. It took about 20 minutes to walk to the city center. For the price, I thought this was one of the best hotels I could have chosen. I stayed four days and would pick it again next time I’m in Amsterdam. Thank you! 😊

We were checked in earlier than expected, and there’s complimentary coffee in the lounge. The staff were polite and helpful throughout. Our original room was a small standard two-bedroom, so after the first night we upgraded to one with a canal view. It was well worth doing. The street was pleasantly quiet overnight, and the location was perfect.

Free coffee, tea, and fruit are a nice extra, as are the discount cards for different services around the city. Just keep in mind the drinks and fruit service closes at 10 PM, so it isn’t available overnight. The location is excellent, easily the hotel’s strongest point. The rooms, though, are cramped and uncomfortable, with little room to move and no proper clothes hanger. The windows look straight into other buildings’ bedrooms, which makes privacy an issue. There is room cleaning, but ours still had a lot of dust, so I wouldn’t recommend it to people with allergies. The sewage noise was also very frequent and seriously disrupted comfort. Prices are generally reasonable, but don’t quite match the cleanliness and level of service.

The canal view was lovely, and the staff were kind, helpful, and knew the area well. We had a really nice stay at the mozart hotel. The room was a good size, clean enough, and the pillows were very comfortable. It’s about 20 minutes from central station, and I’ll definitely look to stay here again.
