Hotel Pagi

Megan was friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and the rest of the staff were great too. We paid a very reasonable price for a large family room with five single beds. The location is excellent. There are lots of steep stairs, though, so it wouldn't suit someone with limited mobility.

We spent two nights here in a twin room, me and my teenage son. The room felt secure, the beds were clean, and the hotel was warm. It's good value in a busy city centre, with shops, restaurants, boat trips, metro and tram links, the RLD, and supermarkets all nearby. The hotel is friendly and centrally located.

The receptionist was really kind and helpful, and the room was very small, which we'd already seen online. Being close to the station and city centre means everything is nearby, but it also gets noisy. We could hear sounds from outside and from the other rooms.

The staff were lovely, the beds were clean, and the location is great. But the place feels like an old, neglected hostel, and the rooms were smaller and in worse shape than the photos suggested. Mine might be okay for one person, but it'd be tiny for two. The window wouldn't shut fully, so I heard pigeons making a racket outside. There was black mold in the bathroom, and the stairs are steep. No air conditioning, wardrobe, or shelf to put things on, either. Street noise and sounds from other rooms carry a lot. If all you need is somewhere in the city centre to sleep and noise doesn't bother you, it may be fine. Otherwise, I'd pick somewhere else.
