The boat is in a quietly hip area, close enough to the main drag but tucked away enough to feel local. We had a great stay and will most likely come back on our next Amsterdam trip. The houseboat is spacious, tastefully decorated, and toasty warm even in January. The beds were comfortable, and the shower had strong pressure and hot water. The host was fabulous, welcoming, and helpful, with great recommendations for nearby places to eat. We loved staying here and highly recommend it.

The view in the morning was gorgeous, even better than the pictures, and you can see how much care and passion Sietske & Frank put into their houseboat. The location is close to Centraal, but far enough away to have some quiet time. Sietske & Frank welcomed all of us warmly, showed us our rooms, and shared great local tips. They even let us use their BBQ, so we had a lovely time with friends around the fire, grilling and smoking. They were so kind and looked out for us in many ways. It felt like they enjoyed having us as much as we enjoyed being there. This place and the hosts are definitely an 11/10. I'd love to see the place, sietske and frank again ♥️

Getting into central Amsterdam was quick, frequent, and inexpensive. It's about a 5 minute walk to the tram stop, then under 10 minutes to Central Station, where you can connect to more trams, buses, or hired bikes to explore the city. We had a wonderful 4-day stay at Sietske’s houseboat. It was spotlessly clean, spacious, and really warm, with underfloor heating. The beds are huge, with plenty of quilts and pillows to choose from. Sierske was a charming, friendly, helpful host who did everything she could to make our stay memorable. It was very good value, and we'd love to come back.

The tram is only about 2 minutes away, and tram 26 takes you straight to the heart of Amsterdam. For a group of four, the houseboat was ideal. We worried my partner, who's 6ft 2, might have to watch his head, but the ceilings are high and the living spaces are beautiful. It was clean and felt homely, with a huge shower. The host was amazing, gave us maps of things to do and places to eat, and even offered to do our washing. She went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. I absolutely loved Houseboat Tante Piet and couldn't recommend it more ❤️❤️❤️

We were able to have separate quarters, which worked out great for me, my partner, and our two grown up kids. The boat is lovely and warm thanks to the underfloor heating. There's no hob or oven, just a microwave, but that was fine for us. It's about a 20 minute walk or two tram stops from the city. The owner was friendly and very helpful, and told us about a local brewery. We also enjoyed having breakfast on the deck.
