I chose SeventyFive over another highly rated hotel because I wanted to support a local business. The other five-star hotel was only €90 more for our stay, and after this experience I regret my choice. SeventyFive felt nowhere near five-star service or hospitality. Our room was so dark that, even with the curtains closed and all the lights on, we needed a flashlight to find the socket. Opening the curtains or window wasn't an option because rooms faced the inner yard, and a man was watching. We were in room 2, by the corridor leading to the entrance and exit, so we heard every person coming and going, especially with suitcases. The shower and sink setup was awful. I couldn't use the mirror, and my cosmetics got wet. The place also wasn't clean and lacked basic hygiene. By the end of four days I felt so depressed I didn't want to come back to the hotel. When we collected our things before our flight, I couldn't use the toilet because it had already been cleaned. This hotel ruined my stay. Never again.
