The Rookies/Uptown

The accommodation was really nice. The hosts were incredibly helpful and kind, and the customer care went beyond their limit. Shout out to Monta, who took great care of us. I'd recommend it to everyone.

The staff were working 24/7 to make sure we didn't run into trouble, and they were really friendly. I stayed two nights and loved it. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and it's right in the Center of the city. I'd love to book here again in the future.

The location was good and the receptionist was kind, but everything else was terrible. I've stayed in plenty of hostels, and never in one this unhygienic and noisy. The rooms were so dirty that I couldn't sleep, so I ended up staying at reception.

There aren't lockers or secure storage for guests, and during my stay another traveler's belongings went missing after the room was cleaned. The reception staff responded with empathy, but it left me wondering if items are always handled carefully during cleaning. I'd keep valuables with me at all times. The dorms are not very spacious and lack privacy curtains, ladders for upper bunks, lockers, and charging ports near the beds. The bathrooms and toilets were decent, and the linens and pillows were good quality. Check-in isn't at the hostel itself: there's no reception there, and a sign sends you a short walk down the street to a separate reception. I may have missed that detail when booking, but it seems to be the permanent arrangement. The staff there were personable, attentive, and helpful, and the simple space was clean and organized, with breakfast treats for guests. I stayed overnight; it was the most decent option I could find within budget. The central location is a plus, with plenty of places to eat on the same street. It's budget-friendly and well located, but amenities are limited and belongings need extra care.
