The Social Hub Amsterdam City

We stayed here while visiting Amsterdam for a gig, and had such a great time. Getting around was easy from this spot, both to AFAS live and into the city centre. The rooms were spacious and clean, with huge comfortable beds and everything we needed. Downstairs there’s a lovely bar, restaurant, and lounge area with a relaxed feel, plus a cafe where we grabbed coffee. The food and drinks were delicious, and all the staff were friendly, helpful, and around whenever we needed them. We’d definitely return here, or try one of their hotels in another location. Thanks for a fantastic stay!

The gym is the best I’ve used across three countries, and the food was great too. The shared spaces are clean and welcoming, and the facilities are really nice. Everyone on staff was pleasant, kind, and supportive, clearly trying to make the stay as good as possible. Thanks to Lucia (I think? Sorry, I’m terrible with names) for helping me with the laundry and room. And thanks to the lovely man, whose name I also can’t remember, who gave me about 300 great ideas for places to eat nearby and around the city. I’d happily stay again, and hope the whole staff has a wonderful day.

The location is absolutely great. There’s a grocery store just a few feet away, and the train/Metro is just as close. It takes less than 20 to get to Amsterdam centraal. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the restaurant does a great breakfast. Lunch and dinner are okay too, though that’s a matter of personal taste. You can get a decent meal, but it comes at a price. We were here for the F1 Grand Prix in Zannvoort. The room was okay and a bit small, but it matched the pictures. We had a good experience overall and would definitely book again when we come back to Amsterdam.

The hotel itself was excellent, from the rooms to the service and location. My first night was in a lovely room, though I ran into a minor issue. I asked at reception the next day if I could switch rooms and met Lucia, who greeted me with a warm smile. She told me to bring my things straight over and said she’d find another room. The replacement, shown in the attached photos, was absolutely wonderful. Lucia made my stay so pleasant that I think I’ll become a regular, especially since I travel to Amsterdam often. Thank you for your excellent service, impeccable manners, and kind treatment. I hope the hotel management gives this wonderful employee special recognition.
