For an extended stay, the complimentary coworking space, including printer use, laundry and drying facilities, and bike rental are really worth it. The accommodation is well maintained, and it’s about 30 minutes by bike to Central Station. Great stay, not far from AMS central.

My son is generally enjoying his long stay at the social hub west, but there’s a serious safety and maintenance issue that needs urgent attention. In less than a week, he got stuck in the elevator twice. The first time he pressed the alarm button repeatedly and got no response, which is very worrying. He reported it right away, and management told him the problem had been fixed. Just two days later, it happened again. I’m concerned about whether proper maintenance checks are being done, especially for the elevator, and the lack of response to the alarm is seriously concerning. I strongly urge management to keep up regular maintenance and make sure emergency systems work and respond properly. Safety should never be compromised.

We stayed for the whole week and loved the hotel. Booking directly on their website brings extended-stay discounts. The gym is large and well equipped, the social area is nice, service is great, and breakfast was delicious. The cafe/restaurant, Stach, is great too. Public transport is only a two-minute walk away and can take you anywhere. We got the GVB 7 day pass for the buses, metro, and tram. The staff are kind and helpful.

The Social Hub Amsterdam West has a lively international feel, with hotel, coworking, and student life all coming together. The modern, colorful design feels inspiring, whether you’re staying overnight or just meeting someone for coffee. Common areas were clean and well maintained, and the staff were welcoming and helpful. It’s a friendly, inclusive place with great facilities for work, study, or a short stay. A real hidden gem in the West area!
