Hotel Sutor

We got great value for the money, and the hotel is in an ideal location. We were there for one night on a self-supported bike trip from Amsterdam to Paris. Breakfast was ordered and waiting in the room when we arrived, with just the right portions and everything we needed. The self check-in was clearly explained on WhatsApp and worked perfectly. The room was cold because the heat hadn’t been turned on, and we couldn’t get the radiator working. We called the number they’d provided, and a very helpful woman arrived in about two minutes to fix it. The hair dryer was broken too, and she sorted that immediately. Things go wrong sometimes, so I really appreciated how quickly both problems were taken care of.

The hotel is nice, well placed and run by very helpful owners. The stairs are the one real drawback: they’re only a little easier than a tight spiral staircase and very hard to manage with luggage.

The receptionist was incredibly kind and gave us lots of useful tips. Our room was nicely decorated and spotless, with a big bathroom and a very comfortable bed. It’s a fantastic hotel right in the city centre, a perfect base for visiting Breda.

Rooms are spacious, with comfortable beds and a large shower room, and the staff were nice and helpful. We didn’t try breakfast. It’s a good value hotel with parking, right by the centre of a lovely city full of shops, restaurants, bars and cafés. Be aware the stairs are very steep if climbing them is difficult.
