We had a long wait for drinks at dinner one evening, around 30-40 minutes, though the service had been great the day before. The breakfast buffet was also great, with plenty of choice and good quality food and drinks. The staff were friendly, the food delicious, and the rooms looked good. My only other gripe was the beds were way too soft and the pillows much too high, which gave me neck pain while sleeping.

The bar was the one weak spot. Service was slow on the first night, and the second night it closed 20 minutes early, so reception came to the rescue with beers from the small store in the lobby. My room was very clean and roomy for Dutch standards, and I was happy enough to stay another night. Reception staff were friendly and efficient, and the restaurant staff were well trained and had great manners. Overall, a great stay.

There’s ample parking, and it’s nicely situated just outside town at the edge of the woodlands. We had a small family gathering there. The staff were friendly and the coffee was fine, but after a while we felt forgotten and had to go up front to find a waitress and get another round.

We had dinner here recently, then came back this Sunday for the brunch buffet, which was the best we’ve ever had. There was so much to choose from, including hot and cold dishes, vegetables, salads and drinks. Simply perfect. My one comment is that everyone has to pay full price, even people over 80.
