The host was a lovely elderly couple who gave us a warm welcome, and they’d clearly taken care with all the details. The bedroom was comfortable, the bed smelled nice, and breakfast was thoughtfully prepared. There’s a large shopping centre and lots of restaurants about a 10-minute walk away. I booked a taxi by app from the airport, and it took around 10 minutes to arrive. The only bathroom is shared and downstairs from the room, though there’s also a ground-floor restroom for urgent needs. The stairs were a bit steep. There was a shared washbasin on the bedroom floor, so the bathroom arrangement wasn’t a big issue for me. I still really enjoyed the stay.

It’s outside Amsterdam, but getting there is easy. The place feels like home, and it’s calm and lovely.

Jhon and Ineke are great people. The place is beautiful, and the area around it is nice for a walk. It’s very clean, and breakfast was really nice.
