Boutique hotel WKNDS

The house used to be a bakery in the previous century, and you can still see the old walls and ceilings. They work nicely with the modern room design. There are six beautiful rooms, decent fast internet, large smart TVs and lovely showers. You can order an extra royal breakfast, made at the main location and brought over in wooden crates in the morning. There are also plenty of places within walking distance to get breakfast. You could try the hotel just across the way, "Post Plaza", and see if they let you have breakfast there.

The street has a lot of traffic, and there was a restaurant terrace right across from our window, so the room was very noisy. It was also really dark, even on a sunny summer day. We asked to move to another room but never got an answer. Everything was handled remotely and we didn’t see any staff. A really bad stay.

The room was clean and comfortable, with a very comfortable bed and a tidy bathroom that had good amenities. You could hear noises from the hallway quite clearly, though, so the sound insulation could be better. I liked the hotel’s stylish interior and the attention to detail, which gave it a warm, modern feel. My stay at Boutique Hotel WKNDS was pleasant, just not quite what I’d expected. The room also felt a little small.

There’s no staff in the building itself, but you can call Eurohotel if anything comes up. The staff there were super friendly, and I really appreciated the handwritten note with breakfast. We had such a fun weekend, staying from Saturday to Sunday. The room was beautifully decorated, and there were chocolates and prosecco waiting for us because it was Valentine’s Day. We’d booked breakfast, which arrived right on time and was delicious. We also ordered the three-course menu and enjoyed it a lot. If you’re choosing between places to stay in Leeuwarden, you’ll have a lovely time here. Absolutely fantastic, thank you!
