B&B Stadsoase Nijmegen

Henk and Tea were flexible, accommodating hosts and did a lot to make us comfortable. Breakfast was freshly prepared, delicious, and ready at the time we requested. The house itself is cosy and has everything you need, though eight people sleeping in the main house can feel a bit tight, so it helps to know one another well. There’s one bathroom and two toilets. The B&B is tucked away from the street behind a lovely garden, about 2.5 km from the city centre, but it’s easy to reach on foot or by bike. It’s in an early 1900s residential neighbourhood with a few pubs nearby, and woodland close by if you want a morning run. Highly recommend it.

We had a great time at B&B Stadsoase Nijmegen, where I spent two nights with five friends. It’s in a quiet, green neighbourhood with local shops and different kinds of restaurants nearby, around a 25-minute walk from Nijmegen’s old city centre. The hosts were friendly and helpful, and served us delicious organic breakfast and dinner in our living room or out in the large garden. We stayed in a separate part of their house. They also suggested places for dinner, hiking, and culture. Although they specialize in sporty guests, we felt very welcome.

Even though it’s right in town, the place was peaceful and quiet. Henk and his wife were wonderful hosts, and I’d highly recommend staying here. We had some good table tennis battles too.

We stayed here again, and it was another great experience. The house works perfectly for our large, active group. Henk and Tia are fantastic and do their best to make the stay a good one. Compliments to Henk, the chef, once again!
