I had to stay here twice for five days each because of work, and hoped to use the sauna after cold, hard days. Both saunas looked new and very clean, but only the infrared cabin worked. Even after five days, the other one still hadn’t been fixed. I started wondering if they simply don’t want guests using the larger sauna. For a hotel aiming to be four-star, having a sauna that doesn’t work is disappointing.

The bed was cozy even though it was only 90 cm wide, and the location is excellent. It’s also good that the hotel has parking. The shower was uncomfortable, and the bathroom fan made enough noise to keep a sensitive sleeper awake. We had trouble with self check-in: despite our reservation, the room wasn’t available. Amstel Live also meant the hotel was very busy, and reception had just one computer for all the work. The staff there were friendly and professional, but the system doesn’t seem to work properly.

We had our baby with us, and he was really loud, but nobody could hear him through the thick walls. Everything was within easy walking distance, and I loved the beautiful reception and excellent room service. Such an amazing birthday stay! 🎆

The room was very clean and had a nice view, and breakfast had a good range of choices. The hotel is on a busy street but still very convenient for exploring the city, with the central station an easy walk away.

Breakfast was quite good, and I’d booked the spacious executive room tower for its nice city view. The towels didn’t smell very good, though, and you have to send a message to get the room cleaned. There’s no reception, and when I used the site chat to ask for water, the reply came four hours later. By then I’d already bought some at the nearest market.
