Hotel Port

Tea and coffee were always available, and breakfast was excellent. Hotel Port had a charming feel and a great location in Rotterdam, very close to the metro. The staff were friendly and attentive, and could help in Dutch, English, Turkish, French, Spanish, and German. The hotel was spotless, with rooms cleaned daily and everything in working order.

The room was a big disappointment. It looked nothing like the photos online, which showed a clean, modern, welcoming space. In person it was outdated, poorly maintained, and less comfortable than I expected. The pictures seemed either heavily edited or taken a long time ago. The staff made the stay worse. They were unfriendly and unprofessional, and from the moment I arrived I felt like an inconvenience instead of a guest. They showed little interest in offering hospitality and lacked basic courtesy. That left the whole atmosphere uncomfortable. This was far below the standard I expected. Between the staff and the misleading advertising, it was a very unpleasant stay. I wouldn't recommend it if you want good service and an accurate picture of the facilities.

The best part for me was how nice the hotel guys were. They explained things clearly when I arrived and helped me figure out what to eat, how to get places, and other things about Rotterdam. I really liked their hospitality. I didn't expect much from the hotel at first, but the room was clean and fair for the price. The location was good, within walking distance of several good destinations. Thank you.

The room was super clean, and the location was perfect. The employees who greeted us were really cheerful and helpful. He explained how parking zones work in the Netherlands and helped us pay for parking. :)
