Appartement de Berghoeve

Our safari tent had everything we needed, including very comfortable beds and a lovely terrace where we could sit and enjoy the quiet. Camping de Berghoeve in Ruinen is peaceful and well organized, with enough privacy at each pitch. Kids have plenty to do here. There are fun play areas, and the new owners have clearly put effort into adding activities and new places for them. The children kept themselves busy all day. The facilities were always clean and tidy, and the surrounding area is beautiful with lots to do. A wonderful campsite for families looking for peace while still keeping the kids entertained. We'd love to return.

Jochem and Janice really try to make your stay enjoyable. You can rent a bike, and they have fresh eggs from their own chickens. They’ve only recently taken over, but they’re doing a great job, so keep it up! We had a wonderful weekend camping at Camping de Berghoeve, a beautiful, well-kept site near Ruinen with tidy sanitary facilities. It’s also an excellent base for visiting the Dwingelerveld.

The site is clean and tidy, and the owners are super friendly. It's a lovely little campsite. They haven't been open long and are receptive to feedback. They also keep organizing activities, like pizza nights and campfires with marshmallows.

We brought our newly bought caravan here for the campsite's Whitsun weekend. The owner was so friendly and helpful, the morning rolls were delicious, and the sanitary facilities looked neat. It was our first stay at a small campsite, and we'd definitely do it again!
