We found the B&B easily by car, and it’s easy to reach by train too. The center of Valkenburg is a 10-15 minute walk away. Street parking right outside costs money, but the street across the train tracks has free parking. It’s a quiet, modest place with clean rooms, friendly staff, and a generous breakfast that tasted good. The price was right for us. If you’re watching your budget and want a clean, good-value overnight stay, this worked well.

The host was great, and the place felt cozy and nice. There’s also a shared kitchen.

We asked the website ahead of time about parking and never got a reply, so we ended up leaving the car in a lot a 15-minute walk away. The local tourist tax also cost more than the amount listed online. The heating didn’t work, and breakfast meant a 10-minute walk through freezing weather to Hotel Mimosa. This didn’t feel like a B&B experience.

When I was cold late at night, they went out of their way to bring me a heater at 11 p.m. They were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful, with lots to choose from: cold cuts, cheese, eggs, and drinks. I’d definitely recommend it.
