Wellnesshotel Thermae 2000

The changing rooms are spacious, the welcome was warm, and the whole place is very clean. There’s lots to do in the naturist area, with saunas, a steam room, light therapy and pools. I wasn't keen on the massage chair, but that hardly matters.

The wellness centre was a treat, with indoor and outdoor pools, jacuzzis, saunas and shiatsu chairs for an extra fee. The food and drinks were good too. I booked an Ayurvedische massage, an Indian head massage and a 25-minute wellness massage, and every one was amazing. We also got upgraded to a gorgeous suite with lovely views, a huge room, sauna, jacuzzi bath, sun shower, mini bar and amazing shelling toiletries. Such a fabulous, relaxing stay!

The breakfast was mediocre for the price, with limited choice. It filled us up, but didn't excite us. The reception was another downside: it got very crowded and the lines were long, while the receptionists were, honestly, far too slow and showed no urgency. The wellness area was busy over the weekend. This was our second visit, and I still feel it costs too much for what you get, although it does provide the relaxation you expect. This time we paid 600 euros a night for a suite. It was much better than the comfort room from our first stay, big, new, luxurious and with a private sauna. We slept really well.

The setting is beautiful, surrounded by nature, and it’s easy to run around the hotel. There’s also a gym if you want to stay active. At Thermae 2000, the nudist area felt calm, respectful and well managed, making it comfortable for everyone. The restaurants had lots of tasty options, and the food was excellent. Our room was cozy and comfortable, and the service was very good. The breakfast buffet was outstanding, with a wide range of fresh, delicious choices. A wonderful place to unwind and relax.
