The staff were friendly, the hotel and room looked modern, and breakfast was nice. Parking costs extra. Sometimes there’s a noise like a power drill against the wall, possibly when someone uses water and the pipes move. Air conditioning is available, but you can only control it from reception, not from the room.

We brought our cat, and she approved of the stay 😺. The hotel felt modern throughout and was clean, with a lovely room and a great breakfast buffet. The staff were friendly too. It seems like a good fit for a layover or a visit to the area.

The breakfast buffet had lots to choose from, especially the super crunchy waffles, which were our clear favourites. We spent a great week in Hamar at Scandic, and the staff were kind and helped with everything we needed. We’ll definitely come back!

Everything felt calm and welcoming, and the hotel seemed well organized. My room was very clean and well maintained, and the staff were friendly, helpful, and always smiling. I had a really pleasant stay at this Scandic hotel. It’s a great choice for either a short visit or a longer stay.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was otherwise great. It was conveniently close to everything we needed. My main issue was the temperature: both the room and bathroom were unnecessarily hot, even after I asked the staff to turn it down. Parking was in a dirt lot, which wasn’t ideal, and cost 115kr per day.
