Breakfast was something I looked forward to every morning, especially the cake and smoked fish. It was fresh, delicious, delicate, and had plenty of local choices, including Omega 3 fish oil. I stayed at Henningsvær Bryggehotell for six nights and had incredible harbour and mountain views from a brand new hotel that felt bright, modern, and cozy. What made the biggest impression was the team. Everyone I met was kind, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. Although it isn’t a full Hyatt-branded property, they recognized my Globalist status and upgraded my room without any fuss. You can tell they care about guests, and the place has a warm feel. It was a very comfortable stay with great service and Lofoten charm. I already miss it and hope to come back.

We saw the northern lights from our room, and the hotel is in a great location. The finishes were nice, and it seemed well priced for what you get. The one thing I’d criticize is the breakfast, which wasn’t very good. There are cafes nearby where you can eat instead.

The breakfast had a delicious spread with plenty to choose from. I slept really well on the exceptionally comfortable bed, and the luxurious room was decorated to a very high standard. Everyone we met, from reception and front of house to the waiters and chefs, was warm, friendly, and professional, so we felt very welcome. The hotel was beautiful, and I’d gladly stay again. We didn’t eat at the restaurant, so I can’t comment on it.

The Junior Suite was spacious and modern, with a very comfortable bed and a large bathroom with double sinks. The rain shower was strong and relaxing, and the breakfast selection was good. The lady serving tables was helpful and attentive. Housekeeping is available on request, and the free parking is limited, first come first served. It’s an expensive stay for a room without AC, a spa, or on-site laundry. Still, the hotel is near the Festvagtind trailhead, the lively town, restaurants, the river dock, and nearby sights. We could walk to the midnight sun and fjords viewpoint too. It’s one of the nice hotels to stay at in Henningsvær, close to the river, and we had a lovely stay.
