The breakfasts were incredible, especially the fresh bread, bacon and eggs, and strong espresso to start the day. You can tell the owners take pride in what they do. They were so welcoming, generous, and quick to help. When we wondered where to rent a fishing rod, one of them just offered theirs without hesitation. That kind of help seemed second nature to them. We stayed on the first floor and didn’t feel we had much privacy, though there’s only so much they can do with the insulation as it is. They seem to be working on permits for a restaurant or bar downstairs. It looks cosy, and I hope they get it running so I can see it. I’d definitely stay again and recommend it for a visit to Henningsvær.

We had a great stay and would definitely come back. The lodge was lovely and well furnished, with access to a sauna. The hosts were delightful, caring, and really nice to talk to.

After three nights, we were already wishing we’d booked a whole week. We definitely plan to return. The breakfasts were superb, and the hosts made sure we had everything we needed, going way out of their way to help. On our last night they even put on a party with a band, pizza, and everything. Just an incredible experience with some of the kindest, most accommodating people. My wife and I have traveled all over the world, and this is one of the best places we’ve stayed.

The view was perfect, and it was handy that they let us use their refrigerator. Our room, kitchen, and bathroom were all clean and spacious. There’s also free parking, about a three-minute walk from the accommodation.

The hosts were lovely and breakfast was super. It’s a wonderful building with great equipment, and our stay definitely lifted the whole trip.
