The room was warm, spotless, tidy, and spacious, and the host was so kind and generous. I’d booked two nights, but a delayed flight meant I could only stay one, which I really regret. The views and surroundings completely exceeded my expectations. I honestly can’t think of a complaint, only so many things to praise.

We loved the flowers around the property, and the owner was incredibly helpful, even driving us into town so we could catch our ferry. My girlfriend enjoyed every part of the stay. It’s also close to the Dronningstein hike, which was amazing, and finishing it with a sauna at the Ullensvang Hotel in Lofthus was a treat. A fantastic place to stay.

The garden was lovely, especially the flowers and rabbits, and the fjord view was wonderful. We were welcomed so warmly even though I’d made a mistake with the booking date. The room was cosy and had everything we needed. We’d highly recommend staying here.

The fjord between the mountains made this such a beautiful place to stay. Our room was cosy and clean, and we had everything we needed. It’s one of the loveliest places we’ve ever stayed, and we’d absolutely recommend it.

A real Norwegian house, with history on the walls and an amazing library. The owner is the 13th generation to have grown up here, and the views are fantastic in every direction. It’s a comfortable, relaxing place, and one to see if you’re visiting the little town.
