We only stayed briefly on the way to the ferry because of the weather, and wished we’d had longer to see the area. Even though we arrived late, everything was ready for us. Breakfast was abundant, and while we ate, the host cleared the snow off our car. We had a nice chat afterward, too.

The staff made us feel like family, and the food was over the top. It’s a beautiful setting and we had such a restful stay. This would be a great place for a family celebration or a wedding.

There’s so much nature to explore around the scenic seaside, which has a special kind of magic. The historic hotel has been beautifully restored and feels like a real gem. My family and I had a wonderful time at Langesund Bad and love coming back every summer. Lars and Signe are welcoming hosts, and the hotel staff does their best to look after what you need. Thank you, Lars, Signe, and the team!

The place has the feel of an old aristocratic hotel, and the staff are super friendly. It’s right by the ocean in a fantastic location. I’d definitely recommend it.

The sea and some nice sports facilities are a short walk away. We slept in tents at the camping spots, but there weren’t any organized pitches. Poorly parked cars were taking up good tent spots, so we had to put ours on an uneven surface.
