The short walk to the train station was a major plus, and the price of the smallest room was one of the reasons I picked this hotel. Check-in was fully automated and went smoothly. I booked a room with one twin bed as I was traveling alone, and expected it to be small, but it was even tinier than I thought. At 6 ft tall with two pieces of luggage, I had no room to move or put my bags somewhere out of the way. I think it would suit a smaller person traveling light. The bed was reasonably comfortable and the bathroom had enough space for essentials. I made a small repair to the shower door hinge, after which it worked fine. The room was clean, though after just two nights the available trash can was overflowing with only a few drink containers in it. The reception area, elevator and hallways were drab, more like a warehouse than a hotel. It’s a no-frills place with a few things going for it. I’d consider it again, though I’d probably rather pay a little more for a bigger room or stay somewhere else.

We slept great in the nice, clean and quiet rooms, and baggage storage was really handy. The hotel’s location was our favorite part, and having a cafe right next door was a perk. The automatic check-in kiosks weren’t working very well, but once we reached the reception area and spoke with Arvin, things went smoothly. He arranged an early check-in, upgraded one of our rooms and let us check out late. He was so kind and helpful, even though he’d been working tirelessly during the strike to keep the hotel open. We really appreciated the flexibility. Our stay was lovely. Thank you, Citybox!

For a cheap, modern, automated place to sleep, it was okay for one night on a business trip. The rooms are very small, but the standard feels modern and clean. It’s a little odd to rate service when everything is 100% automated, though the system worked flawlessly. The bed was too hard for my taste. A better mattress might have earned it five stars.

There’s plenty to do around the hotel, with restaurants and grocers an easy walk away. Inside, there’s a clean, spacious kitchen for food prep and a dining area where you can bring your own food. Seating is available throughout, and there’s a laundry room, coffee and vending machines for a fee. Table tennis, darts and a foosball machine seemed to be free. There’s no TV in the room. It’s mostly self-service, with modern self check-in. I saw a host but didn’t need help. The location is perfect for quick access to the station. My room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the shower was hot, and the bathroom and elevator were clean. If you like the self-serve format, this place is for you.

The hotel was clean, efficient and quiet, and I always felt safe. Its excellent location was the main draw for me. I was on a solo recreational trip and stayed in a single room. It was small but big enough for what I needed, and the attached bathroom was great. Automated check-in and check-out were simple. When I needed extra towels, the employee in the lobby office got them for me without any trouble.
