The apartments have been renovated nicely and the location is great. There are washing machines but no dryer. Service and maintenance need some work, though. Check-in wasn’t great, and we found dirty sheets and blocked drains. Once all the apartments are finished and there’s a good procedure in place, this could be awesome.

My booking was cancelled without an apology, a notification, an email, or even an offer to move me to another room. I wish I’d read the reviews before booking. I’d been warned this was a new scam to raise prices. The host now has a more expensive room available on exactly the dates I booked. I came close to paying more, but we’ve booked a hotel instead. You can’t rate this place on Booking unless you’ve actually stayed there. Kudos to Booking for apologizing and offering compensation, even though this was the host’s responsibility.

My booking was cancelled a couple of weeks before the trip, even though I’d made it far in advance. The apartment was then listed again for double the price. This accommodation isn’t reliable.

I booked this place through Booking two months ago, with the reservation made months ahead of my trip. Now I’ve been told it was cancelled, with no warning or explanation. I could easily have missed that message, flown to Oslo, and arrived with nowhere to sleep. When I contacted the property, they said I should try booking again if there was availability, even though they’re the ones who would know whether a room was available. Booking now says the property isn’t available at all. I can only guess they raised the price and cancelled my reservation without caring what happened to me. If they had to cancel, they should at least have called or otherwise made sure I knew. It shows no care for guests and very poor judgment.
