The unit itself was dirty and poorly kept, with no hot water in the sink and a ragged shower curtain. The walls seemed paper thin, and on Saturday night we could hear three different parties in other units. It was cold in Oslo, but the heater barely worked, so our family froze. We rented for two nights with our kids and a stroller, and on the fourth floor the broken elevator meant hauling everything up the stairs, past garbage, snus packets, and empty liquor bottles. We nearly cancelled before the first night, then gave it a try. Instead, we cancelled and moved to a proper hotel for night two. Customer service was basically nonexistent and didn’t care about our problems. We also couldn’t figure out where the garbage bin was: the pamphlet said the back, customer service said the front, and there was garbage left in the stairwell, so I guess others gave up too. Maybe it suits people who plan to party and barely spend time in the unit, but it isn’t family friendly.

The building smelled of cigarettes, urine, and mold, and other guests seemed to do nothing but smoke on their balconies or by the entrance. Inside, the bathroom was falling apart, with a rusty sink and shower, barely any hot water, a toilet that hardly flushed, and a shower that took up to 15 minutes to heat and sprayed water everywhere. We got one half-full roll of toilet paper, which ran out on the first day, so we had to buy our own. There was only one set of towels each for the whole week. The beds were hard as rocks, the kitchen layout was incredibly poor, and the microwave seemed like a fire hazard. There was no heat, and when we asked for a heater it arrived the day before we left. A solid 1/10 stay. Would not recommend.

We booked for four people but only got bed linen and towels for two. When we asked management to fix it or at least give us a partial refund, they refused and replied with complete disrespect, literally, “It happens.” The apartment was a real disappointment: the rooms were dirty and unkempt, the kitchen didn’t have basic utensils, so cooking or reheating food wasn’t possible, and the bathroom had only cold water, making a proper shower impossible. It didn’t match the website description or the price at all. We were extremely dissatisfied and wouldn’t recommend staying here.
