Oslo Guldsmeden

The spa is lovely and intimate, with live candles, and the rooms, hallways, and shared areas were all nice and clean. Breakfast was ecological, with a small but good selection. We had a great experience from beginning to end. The staff were attentive and had a good service mindset. I'd highly recommend staying here, perfectly situated in the big city of Oslo.

The staff made this place feel special. Everyone was polite, welcoming, and genuinely kind, and I felt looked after from the moment I arrived. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and clearly well cared for. Breakfast was one of the best I've had in a long time, fresh and high quality, with a lovely presentation. The location is very central but still calm, and I loved how easy it was to go for a run by the sea. Waking up to a waterfront run is a real luxury. A wonderful hotel with a great atmosphere. I'd happily stay again and recommend it to anyone visiting Oslo.

We had a lovely two-night stay. Our double room was quite spacious and very clean, and the hotel had a relaxed feel. The neighborhood was quiet while still being fairly close to the city center. We'd definitely come back. :-)

The tiny bathrooms were the one drawback, which is why I gave the room four stars. Otherwise, the beds were comfortable, the windows opened for fresh air, and breakfast each day was amazing. We also enjoyed buying wine or beer in the lobby and playing cards in the lounge or breakfast area each night. It's a beautifully designed boutique hotel, right in the center with plenty of public transport nearby. We could also walk to lots of dinner spots and sights. We'd recommend staying here and hope to return someday.
