The peaceful, beautiful setting made the weekend feel just right, and everyone working there was lovely. We also had a delicious dinner at the restaurant and made use of the indoor pool and sauna. Our room was very clean, and the bath with its rainfall shower was splendid. Adding to all the glowing reviews here, we had a fantastic stay at Lysebu.

The room never seemed to get properly warm, and the pool, gym, and sauna shut at 10:30pm. Still, the place had a lovely hygge feel, and the staff were kind and polite. I also thought the breakfast buffet was one of the best I've had, with a great selection, all in a truly beautiful setting.

We only booked one night, which I regretted once we settled in. My family and I felt very comfortable, and the breakfast had everything I could want. The hotel has a nice pool and sauna, plus plenty of little spots to sit and relax. Our room was cosy, clean, and really nice, with quiet, beautiful surroundings. The staff were super friendly and welcoming. They gave us a tour and told us about the place's history. If you go to Oslo, I'd say stay here. It's probably the best hotel I've ever stayed in, and I hope to come back to this gem.

Breakfast was great, and the sauna and pool were a lovely extra. We were only there for a night and wished it had been longer. Kit welcomed us warmly and was a wonderful host the whole time. He showed us the garden, the bee boxes, and the "stabbur". There was fantastic art throughout the hotel, and our room even had an "Inger Setter". The whole stay was fantastic. Highly recommended.

The grounds were beautiful and peaceful, and the pool and large sauna made it easy to relax. I found the room spacious, spotlessly clean, and beautifully designed. The staff were welcoming and attentive from start to finish, so the stay felt easy and comfortable. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone after a relaxing, luxurious break.
