I won’t stay here again. I booked a single room, but it was missing basic things, including a bathroom floor mat, body lotion and, most importantly, a telephone. At midnight on the first night, a stranger knocked on the door for 20 minutes. I thought they might be homeless or a drug dealer, but I don’t know. With no phone in the room, it was very hard to contact reception. There were no cameras on the floors, and staying so close to the train station made it difficult to feel safe.

I stay at this branch as an in-house guest over 20 times a year and visit their hotels as a guest, but the service for people visiting from outside wasn’t great. You need to be more welcoming. This morning I came hoping to use the toilets. The receptionist kept chatting with a guest at the counter while I waited in line, unattended. She didn’t make eye contact. I asked politely, “I’m so sorry, could I please pay to use your toilet?” I offered to pay and waited patiently, listening to a meaningless conversation while dealing with food poisoning and urgently needing a toilet. She said no, it was only for hotel guests, and I could go to a public toilet. It’s sad how women, especially, treat each other these days, and how careless service can be. Anyone who comes through the door could become a guest at the restaurant, hotel, or events. I’ll never stay there.

Our room was very clean, quiet at night, and the breakfast was nice. But it was so small that storing our luggage was hard, let alone opening it. The bed was also too small for two people, so we didn’t sleep comfortably.

A good comfort hotel option if you need to stay near the train station. Breakfast costs extra, but it’s well worth paying for. Many of the city’s points of interest are only a short distance away.
