For such a cheap price, I can’t really complain. It was clean and the beds were okay, though some pillows were fine and others were old and too thin. The bathroom had a fishy or pee-like smell, and there was a humming noise that might bother you or soothe you, depending on your ears. Traffic and trains weren’t a problem. The bathroom size is fine for someone of ordinary build.

I stayed here for six months on a work contract. Having a kitchen and bathroom in the room made it convenient, and aside from the small rooms and the single bed I kept falling out of, it was a positive experience overall.

The room was freezing, with no proper heating, just a small portable electric heater that was switched off when I arrived. One window was half open, even though it wasn’t needed. The room felt like a prison cell, maybe even less welcoming than one, and the furniture looked like it had come from an old office. There was no place to hang a jacket, and the TV was very cheap. We asked the hotel, which has another reception 800 meters away, for an extra heater. Someone there said, “of course this is not OK,” but only handed over the heater. We had to go get it ourselves, and nothing else was offered.

Fine for a night, and I had no issues. Check-in is down the street. The rooms are very simple, and it seems more like somewhere for workers to stay, though there’s a nice, fully equipped kitchen if you want to cook. There’s also a washing machine.
