The cottage felt warm and welcoming as soon as we arrived, and the kitchen had all the appliances and conveniences we needed. Ålbyggården Feriehus is full of thoughtful personal touches, with that picture postcard look. We had a fantastic winter weekend there. Great for a family trip, a getaway with friends, or a romantic break.

Right beside the church and the beautiful city center, this old farmhouse is a special place to stay. It’s been turned into an apartment, and feels a bit like living in a museum while still having modern facilities. The host was friendly and shared lots of history about the place. A real pearl. I’ll remember the stay.

We had a lovely time here. It’s very private and right in the center, next to Røros Church. There’s a fireplace in the bedroom, and the place works perfectly if you want to cook for yourself.
