I cooked in the shared kitchen, and felt fine storing food in the fridge there. Just remember a padlock for your locker. I forgot mine and had to buy one. The rooms were clean, staff were friendly, and I felt safe. You can walk to the city centre, take bus 25, or walk down the street to catch another bus. A comfortable, convenient stay for travellers in Trondheim.

The common areas had a really nice feel, and the service was great. Eva, one of the workers, was incredibly kind and helpful. Recommended!

The location isn't the most convenient, but the commute wasn't too bad and the price made it worthwhile. I liked the free tea and coffee, and you can buy snacks and drinks at reception. There's a fully equipped kitchen for making your own meals. The common room had a great vibe, with lots of people around. I played guitar, read, and chatted with other travellers there. The staff were kind and friendly, and when I forgot to return my keys at checkout, they were understanding and let me bring them back later that day. I even saw the Northern lights from a good vantage point near the hostel. It was a nice place to stay during my visit to Trondheim, and I'd recommend it.

The room was very nice, and the view faces north, so maybe you can see the Aurora from the entrance. It's some distance from the main train station, though the old parts of Trondheim aren't that far away. The kitchen was fully equipped.

Stayed here in June 2025. The hostel was clean and really nice, with a good kitchen and a comfortable place to hang out. Everyone was friendly, the recommendation lists were useful, and it was easy to figure out the kitchen and linen systems. It's quite close to the train station and city centre.
