Gorkha Garden hotel

The rooftop pool and bar were fantastic, and our room was comfortable and well equipped. The hotel has a really nice view, too. One evening, the festival meant they had run out of tonic water. They arranged to have some sent from their Kathmandu office so I could have a gin and tonic the following afternoon. I'd never had service like that before. Well done, and thank you. I can recommend this hotel.

From the balcony, we had a beautiful view of the mountains and fields, especially at sunset. The room was modern, comfortable, and well equipped, with welcome cookies and fresh fruit waiting for us. We enjoyed a late lunch by the rooftop pool, where the food was better than we expected, and the pool itself was a welcome cool-down on a summer afternoon. The hotel is tucked away from the main road, so it was quiet, but still only about a five-minute walk from the main Ghorka bazaar street. We had a generous à la carte breakfast in the pretty garden before leaving. The staff were wonderful, and the Wi-Fi was strong and steady. We stayed just one night and really enjoyed it. We were surprised to find a hotel of this quality in Gorkha, and it was a highlight of our visit.

We spent two nights here and felt very safe, with police or military control at the hotel entrance. The welcome was friendly, and they helped with our luggage. Everything was clean and comfortable, and the service was excellent. We also got two free bottles of water each day. I'd choose this hotel again if I return to Nepal.

The views were great, the room felt luxurious, and the staff were super friendly. The front office and restaurant teams were especially amazing. Thanks for a lovely stay.
