Everest Holiday Inn

We ate at the hotel restaurant throughout our three-day stay, and it was both welcoming and very affordable. Suryak in particular was a polite, friendly waiter. The staff overall were helpful, and getting here from the airport was easy enough that I didn't need to book a cab. It's good value for a budget stay near the airport. There was a minor roach issue, which may not be unique to this hotel and might have been worse because of the monsoon. Keep an eye on the bathroom drain, as roaches may come up from there.

The food was delicious, and the room service and staff were excellent. Everyone was polite and helpful, and my stay near Tribhuvan International Airport turned out even better than I expected. I'd happily recommend it for a comfortable visit.

Everest Holiday Inn was an easy place to get around from, and the room was comfortable and clean. The staff were friendly and ready to help. I had a very nice stay and would recommend it for a relaxing visit.

The food was good, but the room was overrun with cockroaches. We checked in late in the morning on 11/10/2024 after booking two single beds, and at first we saw a few crawling across the floor and table. After dinner and a walk, we came back to find them everywhere, so we couldn't sleep there. At reception, I showed the desk attendant a video of what we'd found. He seemed dismissive and didn't appear to believe me. He offered to change the bedsheet, which I refused because that wouldn't solve the problem. The other room he showed us had even more cockroaches. When I asked what else could be done, he had colleagues take me to a different hotel, but that place had a cockroach problem too.
