Hotel Om Namo Buddha By OYO Rooms

The security guard deserves the two stars. He was professional, friendly and welcoming. The rest of the staff seemed like a crowd with little hospitality experience, and the whole place could be much better with proper management. On day 1, the linens and towels were dirty and clearly not washed properly. Some plugs didn’t work, the wifi wasn’t working, and the closets needed fixing. On day 2, they changed my room without telling me or getting my consent. The new room was better than the first, but that’s a big NO. On day 3, staff struggled with my invoice and had no record of how many days I’d stayed. I think they may have miscounted. Both rooms also had only dim, colorful lights, which felt strange.

The nicest part was having a quiet room with a good view of the surroundings. The downside was getting bitten by mosquitoes all night. They should provide mosquito repellent, especially since it’s affordable for the price we paid. The room was okay, but not worth what they charged. We could have found better accommodation and hospitality in Kathmandu, Pokhara and Chitwan for that price.

We booked two rooms for one night because the online reviews looked good, but we were disappointed. The rooms were beautifully designed, though the general hygiene was lacking. The bedding didn’t feel fresh and had an odd smell. I wouldn’t recommend it.

The staff were friendly and humble, and the rooms were neatly arranged with a nice design. It’s a relatively new hotel, and I was very pleased with the experience. A great place to stay when visiting Hetauda.
