Hotel Lakeway Inn

Our hosts were kind and friendly, and the three of us were comfortable in our room for three nights. I’d choose this place again on another visit, and recommend it to families, solo guests, and budget travelers.

From my own experience, the people here are very good, and it feels completely like a family hotel. It’s one of the best hotels in Pokhara. If you’re traveling with family and want a safe, peaceful stay, you can choose it with confidence.

We found enough space out front to park both our vehicles, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The owners, Yam Prasad Timilsina and his wife Shanta Timilsina, were friendly and helpful. We arrived in Pokhara around 8 pm in 2019 and came across the hotel by chance. Fewataal is about a seven-minute walk away. I’m hoping to return to Pokhara, and if I do, I plan to stay here again.

The beds were comfortable, and it was good value. There’s no air conditioning, but the ceiling fan did the job. The rooms can be tidied daily, and the showers and toiletries met western standards. It’s an easy walk to Lakeside and other amenities, with public transport accessible on both sides of the street. You can order food, from toast to traditional Nepali dishes. I’ll use the service again.
