Hotel Ama-La, Thamel, Kathmandu

The rooms were spacious, spotless, and clearly well cared for. Staff were warm, polite, and attentive, which made everything feel more comfortable. I loved the food, fresh and full of flavor, made with care. The service, hospitality, and atmosphere all went beyond what I expected.

I still have one day here, and I'm glad to be back. I stayed at ama la hotel between trips elsewhere, and all the coming and going made the place feel like home. The room was comfortable, spacious, and clean, and the location was great. All the staff, from reception to catering and cleaning, were wonderful. Service was excellent, and breakfast was buffet style, with the option to ask the kitchen for something if needed. Nothing was too much trouble. Susma at reception was especially lovely and kind every time. I'd heartily recommend ama la as a great place to stay.

The restaurant upstairs was fun, and the food was amazing. At hotel Amala, the rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff were welcoming and attentive, with top notch service. I'd recommend Amala if you're looking for somewhere to stay near thamel.

We were taken in at short notice and got very well appointed rooms and a really good breakfast. The place was comfortable, clean, and had air-con, a lift, all the amenities I expected, plus a few extras. A top choice in Thamal. It's also close to Rosemary’s Kitchen, a wonderful cafe that we were happy to visit for more than two days.
