The place is easy for taxis to find, even late at night, and the city center is only a short walk away. The owners made us feel like old friends, and they speak Chinese, English, and Nepali. The staff were kind, and even the children helped look after guests. Their dogs were lovely, too. We found the kitchen clean and tidy, and there’s a washing machine, heating, hot water, and filtered drinking water. The hotel is great value, and the owner's specialty tea makes a really distinctive souvenir to take home to loved ones.

Suraj made our five nights at Hotel Darwin much better. He checked us in and out, answered our questions, handled our needs, and even made breakfast. He deserves five stars for all that, and we really appreciate his hard work. The rest of the experience left us feeling unwelcome. We were met with silent glares, so we won't stay at Darwin again. There are plenty of other lovely hotels in Kathmandu where guests feel welcome.

The rooms were really clean and comfortable, with AC, a dryer, and hot water. It's a quiet place, and the staff are friendly. There are two very friendly dogs there as well. Breakfast was pretty good, especially the egg and toast, and I really liked the milk tea. You can also buy a bus ticket to pokhara here. I'd recommend the hotel to everyone!

The rooftop view is amazing, and the food here is the best I've had compared with other hotels in town. The staff were welcoming, and my room was clean with an attached bathroom. I'll definitely stay here on my next trips to Kathmandu.
