Hotel Jampa

There’s plenty of shopping and restaurants with different cuisines in this convenient, lively area. The hotel has a welcoming, homely feel, with caring people and friendly, helpful, courteous staff. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast spread is decent, with a generous food selection at the in-house restaurant. The ambience is great, and both the Front Desk and Travel Desk were efficient.

The breakfast service was really good, and they make great barista coffee. I asked for a flat white with half the milk, and they got it spot on. Their airport pick-up is super convenient for a first-time visitor: just walk out of the terminal and look for the staff member holding the placard.

The Jampa takes hospitality seriously. Everyone was friendly and helpful, from the front desk and guard to the restaurant staff. The morning breakfast is good by KTM standards, and the clean, comfortable stay was great value for money. At these prices, it’s frankly a steal. I first stayed for two nights when I arrived. The experience was good enough that I came back for another two nights on my return. I’d originally booked just one night, but when my plans changed and I got back to KTM a day early, The Jampa accommodated me at short notice. Top marks to the staff and owner. Keep it up, guys!

The staff were great across the board, from the front desk to security and concierge, and the breakfast selection was especially good. My modern, clean room had its own hot water heater and minisplit. They also held my bag for a day while I was away, at no charge. A fabulous hotel and a great bargain in the heart of Thamel. Hope to stay again.
