After trekking, my friends and I needed somewhere at the last minute, and this worked out so well. The rooms were spotless, with clean, comfortable beds, and the owners made us feel genuinely welcome and made sure we had what we needed. It’s tucked just off the main street, so it feels private, while the nearby shops are only seconds away. We couldn’t have picked a better place in Thamel and would recommend it.

Hotel Green Horizon has clean, roomy bedrooms and hot showers, plus a pleasant dining area and balconies for sitting in the sun. Its spot in the middle of Thamel, Katmandu is convenient, and the staff are thoughtful, welcoming, and kind. They also offer laundry at a good price. A nice place to stay all around.

The common area is lovely and spacious, and Friday pizza night comes with free side dishes for everyone to enjoy. The hotel sits just off the busy streets, so it’s noticeably quieter. Our room was very clean, the shower was properly hot, and we had useful extras like soap, shampoo, and fresh towels, which we haven’t always found here. The staff were warm and friendly too. Of the three places we stayed in Kathmandu, this was probably the best. We’d come back.

Breakfast had plenty of choices, and I enjoyed it. The owner and staff were so friendly and helpful, greeting us warmly every day and making the place feel like home. The room was fine too. Thanks so much, I’ve got lovely memories of staying here and would come back.
