Hill stations offer a cool, peaceful break from the heat and bustle of everyday city life. With greenery, hills and streams, fresh air, and scenic views, they’re appealing places to relax or get out for a trek or nature walk. Local markets can add another draw, with regional food and handicrafts to browse. They suit people looking for either outdoor adventure or a quieter retreat, and offer a change from the daily routine.

The bathroom water was greenish, which left me concerned about cleanliness and safety, and the power kept cutting out about every 30 minutes, disrupting basic comfort and daily routines. I was also asked to pay for parking despite the hotel's public assurance that it was free. There were no notices beforehand, and staff were uncooperative when I asked about the charge. These conditions aren't acceptable for a registered hospitality business, especially in a prime religious tourist area. I kindly ask the Hotel Association Nepal to look into it and take steps to maintain service standards and treat guests fairly.

Staff are friendly, and the place has quick access to the ring road, airport and Pashupati temple. The rooms are very small, though, and packed with up to 3 beds. There’s Wi-Fi but no AC. Management should update or upgrade the bathrooms and electrical plugs/outlets.

It’s hard to find a place around here with tasty food, reasonable prices, and such a peaceful, clean environment. Whenever I come to this area, I like to have breakfast here. The chicken momo in particular is juicy and tasty.
