Hotel Plumeria Inn

I left after only four hours because the room smelled so bad. The towel also seemed unwashed. I'd booked a couple room and paid 1,000 rupees in advance; the room cost 2,000 rupees, with breakfast and dinner included, but I didn't have either meal. When I told the staff I couldn't stay because of the smell, they said I could leave if I paid another 500 rupees. They hadn't told me about that charge beforehand, but the owner said it was their rule, so I paid. They spoke to me rudely afterward too. The room's condition and price didn't match what I expected from the pictures, especially the bathroom. I was shocked when I first walked in. If you're considering this hotel, think carefully before booking. It was a very bad experience, and I wouldn't recommend staying here.

The rooftop was awesome, and I really liked the vibe during my 7 nights at hotel plumeria inn in December. Rooms were good, bathrooms neat and clean, and the bedsheets were changed daily with housekeeping. It's a great budget-friendly hotel in Kathmandu Thamel. The owner was humble and the staff helpful. I stayed for 2 nights at a comparatively cheaper price, and the food was delicious. The rooms were clean and the staff humble. I came to Nepal in October for a short trek to langtang valley. After landing in Kathmandu, I looked for an affordable hotel around thamel, found hotel plumeria inn, took a taxi straight there, and got a warm welcome.
