The staff made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived and were always ready to help with a smile. Their Nepali hospitality felt warm, respectful, and heartfelt. We also loved the delicious food, with authentic local flavors that made each meal special. The traditional Newari architecture is beautifully preserved and gives the hotel a distinct cultural charm. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for local culture, good food, and genuine hospitality.

Clean rooms and delicious food are among the highlights at Hotel Thamel House. The service is very polite, and the setting feels peaceful despite being in the market area. I often bring clients here from the airport, and they’re always happy with the hospitality. For a historical, traditional Nepali experience in Thamel, Kathmandu, this is a great choice. The architecture and interior decor capture the feel of old Kathmandu, and I recommend it to anyone looking for quality service.

The staff were so friendly and attentive that we felt right at home, and the breakfast had lots of delicious options. Everyone went out of their way to make our stay a good one. The hotel exceeded my expectations, with a wonderful mix of comfort and luxury. I’d highly recommend it.

The restaurant serves Nepali food with a tapas style and live entertainment, and the breakfast is delicious. The rooms are clean, and the staff are friendly, especially the kitchen team. Historical sites and The Garden of Dreams are only a few minutes away. Right in the heart of Thamel, it’s hard to ask for a better location. It’s a great place to relax before or after a trekking trip.

There are plenty of restaurants around, and the location works well for tourists or people heading off to trek in the mountains. The staff are so helpful, and the hotel restaurant is very good, with lots of choices and different cuisines. I could eat dal there every day, so there’s no need to go out looking for another restaurant.
